what type of motor oil should i use for a 1993 chevy?
my gf has a 1993 chevy k1500 with a 350 v-8 in it.and i was wondering what type of motor oil should i be putting in it? when i did the oil change i put in quaker state synthetic high mileage.is this a good or bad thing for an older motor?
I have 2 older chevy trucks, the lower mileage one (200k) gets 10w30, the real high mileage one (250k) gets rotella 15w40
I use lucas oil stabilizer in both, its expensive but worth every penny IMO.
